2025 China Computing Power Conference | ZDATA’s “500,000 kW Integrated Source-Grid-Load-Storage Project” Wins Innovation Pioneer Award
From August 22 to 24, the 2025 China Computing Power Conference was successfully held in Datong City, Shanxi Province. With the theme “Computing Network Lays the Foundation, Intelligence Leads the Future,” the event featured 16 sub-forums and special activities focusing on all aspects of the computing power industry development—government, industry, academia, research, application, and finance. Xiong Jijun, Vice Minister of Industry and Information Technology, and Tang Zhiping, Vice Governor of Shanxi Province, attended and addressed the opening ceremony. Liu Junyi, Deputy Secretary of the Datong Municipal Party Committee and Mayor, presided over the ceremony.
At the main forum, the 2025 “Computing Power China · Innovation Pioneer Outstanding Cases” were officially announced. ZDATA’s “500,000 kW Integrated Source-Grid-Load-Storage Project” was successfully selected for the list due to its leading practices and innovative value in green computing power infrastructure. Located in Ulanqab, Inner Mongolia, the project fully leverages local wind energy resources. Through systematic innovation in technology and business models, it significantly improves energy utilization efficiency and clean power coverage, providing stable, low-carbon, and low-cost power support for computing power infrastructure. This recognition not only reflects the industry’s high approval of ZDATA’s innovative integration of energy and computing power but also marks a major breakthrough in ZDATA’s path toward building “green computing power.” It sets a benchmark for further promoting the “East Data West Computing” project and advancing the synergistic development of computing power and electricity in a green and low-carbon manner.
Ma Chao, Senior Vice President of the Group, accepted the award on stage on behalf of ZDATA.
During the conference, Vice President Kang Nan was invited to participate in several important events, including a symposium for key computing power enterprises hosted by the Department of Information Technology Development of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and the Computing Power Industry Investment Promotion and Industrial Ecological Cooperation Symposium, where she delivered speeches. She also represented the group as a member at the launch ceremony of the “Intelligent Chain Unbounded Intelligent Computing Industry Ecological Alliance” during the main forum. During the event, Kang Nan gave exclusive interviews to Shanxi Television and CCTV.com, sharing insights on ZDATA’s latest achievements and forward-looking plans in computing power construction, integration into the national computing power network, and green development.
