Adhering to the concept of "realizing the value of intellectual property and supporting innovation-driven development," the Beijing Strong Nation Intellectual Property Research Institute centered the conference theme around "intellectual property, the development of science and technology industries, and their regulation." Government officials, representatives from the judiciary, industry professionals, and practitioners were invited to discuss new models and methods for creating, managing, utilizing, and protecting intellectual property. Additionally, to promote the development of intellectual property and scientific innovation, outstanding practices and individuals in the fields of intellectual property and scientific innovation were recognized.
Among them, Mr. Zhou Kang, the CEO of ZDATA Technologies Co., Ltd. (referred to as "ZDATA"), was honored with the title of "Leading Figure in Science and Innovation" at the Intellectual Property Forum. Thirteen top professionals in the industry, including Professor Zhou Ji from Tsinghua University's School of Materials Science, Academician Gao Fu from the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Director Liu Chuanlin, Technical Grade Four (Regular Military Rank) from the General Logistics Department of the People's Liberation Army, and Founder of SMIC, Zhang Ruimin, along with others, also received this prestigious title.
During the "6th Strong Nation Intellectual Property Forum," keynote speeches were delivered by authorities in intellectual property, including Zhang Qin, a member of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), and academician representatives such as Shen Changxiang and Ni Guangnan. The speeches revolved around two keywords: innovation and protection.
The year 2019 is a crucial one for further opening up reforms and implementing strategies for innovative development in China. Xi Jinping, the General Secretary of the Communist Party of China, emphasized the importance of adhering to the path of independent innovation with Chinese characteristics. The focus is on facing global technological frontiers, economic battlefields, and addressing significant national needs to accelerate innovation in various fields. Innovation drives social development and progress, concurrently propelling the advancement of intellectual property, as highlighted in the speeches at the Strong Nation Intellectual Property Forum.
Director Mu Rongping of the Research and Development Department of the Chinese Academy of Sciences discussed the five influencing factors of the innovation-driven development strategy, emphasizing the importance of innovation capability as a focal point for long-term competitiveness.
With recent changes in the situation of the China-US trade war, the importance of protecting intellectual property has become increasingly apparent. Enhancing the quality of intellectual property, raising awareness of intellectual property protection, and mastering the norms of intellectual property protection systems are now central themes in intellectual property protection.
Lu Zhiping, Deputy Director of the Legislative Affairs Department of the State Intellectual Property Office, pointed out in his speech on the development of China's patent and trademark legal system that actively pursuing patents and utilizing them effectively are crucial steps in the process of completing the construction of computer networks.
In addition to innovation and protection, Zhang Qin, a member of the National Committee of the CPPCC, and Zhu Suping, Director of the Jiangsu Provincial Intellectual Property Office, provided policy suggestions on copyright protection in their respective speeches. They highlighted efforts to enhance intellectual property protection capabilities in terms of business operations, management, investment, and talent systems.
As a cloud infrastructure service provider, ZDATA has continuously increased investment in cloud infrastructure development in recent years and fostered specialized talents for related business. The company has also made significant contributions in the field of intellectual property.

We also hope that our enterprises can mutually promote and cooperate, jointly building a safe and stable intellectual property environment."
