ZDATA Invited to Attend APNIC 48 Meeting

The APNIC 48 conference took place from September 5-12, 2019, in Chiang Mai, Thailand. Co-organized by APNIC (Asia-Pacific Network Information Centre), THNICF (Thailand Network Information Center Foundation), and TISPA (Thai Internet Service Provider Association), the APNIC 48 conference included the participation of ZDATA as an APNIC partner and member.

The conference agenda covered various topics, including routing and network security, RPKI mechanisms and deployment, IPv6 training, IPv6 special forums, policy discussions (regarding prop-124, prop-126, prop-130, prop-131, and prop-132), and the APNIC Member Meeting (AMM).

APNIC organizes two Open Policy Meetings annually to discuss technical and policy issues influencing the Asia-Pacific Internet community, providing a forum for collective discussions on Internet development. As a member of APNIC, ZDATA has actively participated in several of these annual meetings.

The APNIC 48 conference brought together internet and network experts, government representatives, industry leaders, and other relevant individuals from around the world. They engaged in discussions on APNIC technical training courses, industry policies, IPv6 deployment, network security, network attacks, and network authentication. The conference aimed to foster positive communication, exchange of ideas, and elevate professional network knowledge. Through APNIC 48, participants gained insights into cutting-edge international technologies, the overall architecture, and operational rules of the Internet, as well as comprehensive Internet policy systems.
