Get Closer to ZDATA Green Big Data Industrial Base in Half a Minute
ZDATA has been dedicated to the development of the green and zero-carbon big data industry. In July 2021, the ZDATA Green Data Industry Base (referred to as the "project") underwent the low-carbon level assessment certification initiated by the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and ODCC. The project was honored with the industry's first 5A design category "Carbon Neutral Data Leader" award, showcasing its energy-saving, low-consumption, and green management capabilities, receiving recognition from industry professionals and experts.
The project adopts "green and low-carbon" as its design concept, implementing high-level standards in the design, planning, and engineering operation processes. It demonstrates "hard" strength in green management by using advanced technological solutions and energy-saving innovations. Moreover, the supporting construction of the "Integrated Source-Grid-Load-Storage" system will better optimize and integrate local power sources and power grid resources, improve the level of renewable energy development and absorption in data centers, and increase the proportion of non-fossil energy consumption. This will enhance the efficiency of the power system operation and leverage the flexible adjustment capability on the load side.
The project has received attention and support from leaders at various levels of the provincial and municipal government. During the inspection of the ZDATA Green Data Industry Base, key provincial leaders set development goals for ZDATA to build a "Green Cloud Valley" in Datong.
To achieve the "Green Cloud Valley" vision and the "zero-carbon" goal, ZDATA will continue to invest in new energy sources such as photovoltaics, wind power, and energy storage. It will upgrade and break through technologies that reduce consumption in areas such as water use, power supply, and data center cooling. The company will adhere to the development path of environmental protection, energy conservation, and green and low-carbon initiatives. This effort aims to support Shanxi in implementing the "14th Five-Year Plan" and advancing the "Made in China 2025 Shanxi Action," contributing to the integration of energy revolution and digitization.
