According to the memorandum, both parties, under the national strategic background of "Eastern Numbers and Western Computing," will leverage their respective technological products and market advantages to carry out comprehensive, in-depth, and diversified strategic cooperation in the field of "low-carbon computing power products."

Seagate Technology, founded in 1979, is a global leader in data storage solutions. As the world's largest manufacturer of hard drives, disks, and read-write heads, Seagate has been driven by the belief that data is potential from its inception. With innovative technology, precision craftsmanship, and sincere collaboration, Seagate creates outstanding products, providing tangible value to customers. For over 40 years, Seagate has been driving data innovation, helping millions of individuals and businesses achieve their dreams and unleash their full potential through a diverse range of data storage products.

With the official launch of the "Eastern Numbers and Western Computing" project, facing the new challenge of integrating and coordinating various types of heterogeneous computing power across the country, ZDATA and Seagate Technology join forces. Leveraging their accumulated experience in the industry, they will coordinate resources and jointly promote the industrial application of the "Seagate-ZDATA-Eastern Numbers and Western Computing Storage System." The collaboration aims to explore suitable scenarios, ultimately achieving the application landing in data centers, edge computing, government, and enterprise digitization. Meanwhile, ZDATA and Seagate Technology will focus on research related to low-carbon, high-efficiency, and jointly explore carbon-neutral technology and efficient operational applications.

The "Eastern Numbers and Western Computing" project not only involves the unified allocation of computing power and other production factors by national forces but also holds significant importance for improving the imbalance between supply and demand in data centers and driving regional coordinated development. It can also accelerate the development of the upstream and downstream industries of data centers. ZDATA and Seagate Technology have come together for this common mission, aiming to harness the synergistic and multiplying effects through collaboration, contributing to the transformation of China's data center industry layout, computing power structure, technological innovation, green low-carbon initiatives, and computing power empowerment. They seek to explore the best practices of using low-carbon computing power technology and smart infrastructure to support economic and social development. As participants and contributors to the "Eastern Numbers and Western Computing" project, they steadily strive to become key leaders in this transformative journey.
