New prospects in Guangdong, converging in Shaoguan: ZDATA signs a data center cluster project investment agreement with Shaoguan City.
On September 9th, Shaoguan City held the signing ceremony for the investment agreement of the second batch of data center projects in the Shaoguan data center cluster. Leaders attending the ceremony included Chen Shaorong, Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee; Chen Zhiqing, Deputy Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee and Acting Mayor; Zou Zhenyu, Member of the Municipal Party Committee and Executive Deputy Mayor; Jiang Honglin, Deputy Mayor; Zhu Yuhua, Executive Deputy Director of the Shaoguan Data Center Cluster Construction Leading Group Office and Second-level Inspector; and Guo Xiangu, Director of the Shaoguan Development and Reform Bureau and Second-level Inspector.
ZDATA Technologies Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as ZDATA), as one of the first third-party data center signing companies, participated in the signing ceremony. Representing the company, Ma Chao, Vice President of ZDATA, signed the investment agreement with the Shaoguan municipal government to jointly promote the construction of ZDATA's South China Headquarters and South China Computing Power Center project.
In his speech, Chen Zhiqing, representing the mayor, pointed out that in February of this year, four national ministries and commissions approved Guangdong Province to initiate the construction of the national integrated computing power network hub node in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. It was explicitly stated to construct a data center cluster in Shaoguan. The signing of the second batch of data center projects marks the acceleration of the construction in the starting area, which will undoubtedly propel the development of the Shaoguan data center cluster to new heights and inject powerful momentum into the innovation and development of the digital economy in Shaoguan and even the entire province.
ZDATA's settlement in the Shaoguan cluster is a crucial part of the company's strategic layout for national computing hub nodes. It also lays an important physical foundation for the company to integrate into and serve the entire Greater Bay Area's big data industry development. The company will continue to optimize and improve its industrial layout under the guidance of the national "East Counting, West Calculating" strategy, forming a first-mover advantage in the coordinated development of multiple nodes with distinctive characteristics of ZDATA.
As one of the earliest and first batch of third-party big data enterprises to successfully collaborate with Shaoguan and sign investment agreements, ZDATA, in synergy with Shaoguan City, is propelling the project into a substantive development stage. ZDATA will actively integrate into the Shaoguan data center cluster's ecological chain construction, providing strong support for Shaoguan to form a gathering effect in the upstream, midstream, and downstream of the big data industry. Leveraging the company's accumulated experience and resources in the industry over the years, ZDATA aims to play an active role in the construction of a new generation of green, low-carbon computing, network, and data center infrastructure base for the future. This will help Shaoguan accelerate the development of a billion-dollar electronic information and big data industry cluster, establishing a national integrated computing power network hub and a green, low-carbon data center cluster as important strategic nodes.
