“Grassland Cloud Valley, Digital Future” - ZDATA and Ulanqab City Reach Strategic Cooperation
On April 18, Ulanqab Green Arithmetic Building Base New Quality Productivity Development Promotion Conference was held in Zhongguancun, Beijing. The promotion meeting was hosted by the CPC Ulanqab Municipal Committee and Ulanqab Municipal People's Government, and organized by the Data Center Committee of Chinese Telecommunications Industry Association, Ulanqab Municipal Big Data Management Bureau, and Ulanqab Municipal Investment Promotion Bureau.
Beijing Municipal Bureau of Agriculture and Rural Affairs first-class inspector Wang Zhaolong, Zhongguancun Science City Management Committee full-time deputy director He Jianwu, Ulanqab City Deputy Mayor Chai Yue attended the meeting, Beijing Chaoyang District, Fangshan District, Daxing District and other seven Beijing-Mongolia counterpart collaboration area government leaders, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Agriculture and Animal Husbandry Department, Government Service and Data Management Bureau and Ulanqab City relevant departments responsible comrades attended the meeting. The government leaders of Beijing Chaoyang District, Fangshan District, Daxing District and other 7 Beijing-Mongolia counterpart collaboration areas, the Department of Agriculture and Animal Husbandry of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, the Administration of Governmental Services and Data and the relevant departments of Ulanqab Municipality were present at the meeting, and more than 100 representatives of ZDATA and other Smart Computing industry enterprises participated in the promotion.
ZDATA Vice President Ma Chao attended the meeting and signed the strategic cooperation agreement on behalf of the company.ZDATA Green Wisdom Big Data Industrial Base is located in Chahar Economic Development Zone, with a total investment of 10 billion yuan, designed to install about 35,000 cabinets and carry about 350,000 servers, and adopts the operation mode of “government-led, professional operation, and intensive development” to build a high-end and international big data industry service cluster. It adopts the operation mode of “government-led, professional operation, intensive development”, and involves four major functions: cloud service bearing, data calculation and storage, disaster recovery and incubation, so as to build a high-end and internationalized service cluster of big data industry.
As the core of ZDATA's strategic layout of business in Beijing, this project continues to deepen the cooperation between Beijing and Mongolia, empowering the important action of “Green Arithmetic into Beijing”, providing green, efficient and high-quality arithmetic services, strongly supporting the demand for the development of artificial intelligence in Ulanqab City, and assisting the economic development of Ulanqab City to a new level. After the project is landed, it will further drive the two-way promotion and synergistic development of the digitalization and digital industrialization of Ulanqab's industries, and promote Beijing and Mongolia to work together to build a synergistic development system of the digital economy with green arithmetic as the core.
Mr. Kang Nan, Vice President of ZDATA, was invited to be interviewed by Beijing Radio and Television Station, Beijing Time, China IDC Circle and other media on the development and impact of computing power industry in the process of unleashing new quality productivity. He said, “The large-scale application of AI and big models requires efficient carrying capacity and transportation capacity of computing power, large-capacity power guarantee, more abundant clean energy, flexible and efficient computing capacity of edge nodes, etc. We should rely on the internal and external double-wheel drive in the layout of computing power facilities, and promote the development and impact of the computing power industry in the east and west under the guidance of the project of ‘East Counts, West Counts’. “We should rely on both internal and external drive in the layout of computing facilities, promote efficient complementarity and synergy between computing power and energy in the eastern and western regions with the “East Counts and West Counts” project as a guideline, and lay out overseas computing facilities with a focus on countries along the Belt and Road, so as to realize the green, sustainable and healthy development of AI empowerment.”
Ulanqab's superior location advantages, climate advantages, factor security advantages, green and low-carbon advantages are superimposed on each other, making it a preferred place for the smart computing industry. The signing of this contract marks another important point in the cooperation between ZDATA and Ulanqab Municipal Government in the fields of digital economy, artificial intelligence and green computing power, etc. ZDATA has always been committed to building a high ground for the development of new quality productive forces in Ulanqab, and by virtue of its own rich industrial eco-resources and technological advantages, ZDATA helps the government to build a synergistic system for the development of the digital economy with green computing power at its core, and promotes the “Grassland Cloud Valley” smart computing industry together with the government.
