DCIC2026 | ZDATA Ulanqab Project Selected as "Green Energy-Saving Case"!
Recently, the DCIC2026 (15th) Data Center Industry Development Conference was grandly inaugurated in Beijing. Under the theme "AI Empowers Computing Power, Collaboration Creates the Future," the conference brought together core forces from government, industry, academia, and the entire industrial chain. Focusing on the high-quality development of the computing power industry in the opening year of the "15th Five-Year Plan," it explored pathways for computing power upgrading, green and low‑carbon transformation, intelligent computing integration, and ecosystem co‑construction, while addressing the supply‑demand imbalance and technological iteration bottlenecks, jointly drawing a new blueprint for high‑quality industry development. Leaders in attendance included Liu Lihua, former Deputy Minister of Industry and Information Technology and Deputy Director of the Economic Committee of the 13th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference; Guo Hao, President of the China Association of Communication Enterprises; Su Shaolin, Vice President and Secretary‑General of the Association; Hu Jianbo, President of the National Data Development Research Institute; and Ao Li, Vice President of the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology.
During the conference, ZDATA, together with Tencent, Alibaba, the three major telecom operators, and leading computing power enterprises, jointly launched the "Intelligent Computing Interconnection · Collaborative Co‑existence — Full‑domain Computing Power Ecosystem Empowerment Initiative." Guided by the principles of "intelligent computing interconnection and collaborative co‑existence," the initiative aims to break down regional, industrial, and technological barriers, build a new ecosystem of full‑domain coordinated computing power, promote deep integration of networks, computing, data, and intelligence, and achieve resource sharing and ecosystem co‑construction, thereby empowering the high‑quality development of the digital economy.
Kang Nan, Vice President of ZDATA, attended the launching ceremony
Concurrently, the conference released the "2026 High‑Quality Development Enterprise Cases for Computing Power Infrastructure," showcasing exemplary projects with demonstration significance in technological innovation, green energy saving, and intelligent operations. The "ZDATA Ulanqab Large‑scale Intelligent Computing Park Green Computing‑Power Synergy Project" was successfully selected as a "Green Energy‑Saving Case" for its outstanding technological innovation, sustainability, and industrial driving capability.
Green Foundation, Innovation for the Future
The ZDATA Ulanqab Large‑scale Intelligent Computing Park Green Computing‑Power Synergy Project is located in Ulanqab, Inner Mongolia. Leveraging the region’s abundant wind energy resources, the project adopts technological and business model innovations, utilizing smart energy technologies to coordinate and manage all aspects of energy production and consumption within the area. This effectively reduces grid investment costs, improves investment efficiency, and lowers enterprise electricity expenses.
Optimal Resource Allocation, Efficient On‑site Consumption of Green Power
Relying on the region's rich wind and solar resources, the project innovatively builds an integrated "source‑grid‑load‑storage" joint control platform, enabling efficient on‑site utilization of renewable energy and providing a solid energy foundation for green computing power.
Flexible Interaction, Enhancing System Balance Capability
Based on the "source‑grid‑load‑storage" integrated development model, the project fully taps into load‑side regulation capabilities, optimizes power transmission and consumption processes, and improves overall system efficiency and balance.
The project's successful selection as a DCIC2026 "Green Energy‑Saving Case" represents authoritative industry recognition of ZDATA's long‑term commitment to green and low‑carbon development. In the AI era, computing‑power synergy has become a core pathway for driving high‑quality development of computing power infrastructure. As a full‑stack digital infrastructure integrated service provider, ZDATA will continue to uphold its development philosophy of "green, intelligent, and efficient," collaborating with industrial chain partners to build a greener computing power foundation with higher efficiency, lower energy consumption, and optimized models, propelling the computing power industry toward leapfrog development in the age of artificial intelligence.
