Top-tier guests, cutting-edge perspectives, broad scope, and profound impact – on September 6, the 2021 China International Digital Economy Expo (referred to as "Digital Expo"), hosted by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the People's Government of Hebei Province, grandly opened. With the theme "Innovative Development and Digital Economy," it aims to create a national-level international platform for exchange and cooperation in the digital economy.
During the opening ceremony, Liu He, member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Vice Premier of the State Council, attended and delivered a speech via video. Liu He emphasized that General Secretary Xi Jinping attaches great importance to the development of the digital economy and has provided a series of important instructions. It is necessary to deeply study and comprehend them and earnestly implement them. The development of the digital economy requires a serious implementation of the new development concept. As one of the three sub-venues of the Digital Expo, the Huailai sub-venue of the 2021 China International Digital Economy Expo and the 6th China Digital Dam Summit also kicked off simultaneously. The sub-venue, themed "Building a High Ground for the Big Data Industry to Support the Coordinated Development of Beijing, Tianjin, and Hebei," invited academicians, think tank experts, and enterprise representatives to engage in cutting-edge ideological exchanges and collide sparks of wisdom around new trends, new patterns, and the new future of the digital economy.
