Adhering to the "Low Carbon" Theme - ZDATA Wins the "2021 China IDC Industry Carbon Neutral Innovation Award"
On December 21-22, the 16th China IDC Industry Annual Awards Ceremony with the theme "Energy, Computing Power, Digitization" successfully concluded in Shenzhen. As a leading IDC service provider in China, Mr. Chen Shi, Senior Vice President of ZDATA, was invited to attend the event. Together with leaders from regulatory authorities, industry experts and scholars, and representatives of leading enterprises, they discussed macro policies, industry development, construction layout in the IDC field, and shared ZDATA's practices and innovations in technology-enabled green data centers.
As an IDC service provider with outstanding comprehensive strength in technology and industry applications, ZDATA's new-generation Internet cloud computing innovation base project won the "2021 China IDC Industry Carbon Neutrality Innovation Award" at the conference. This recognition highlights the industry's high acknowledgment and affirmation of ZDATA's technological innovation in efficient energy utilization, green design, and green management.
Under the guidance of national strategic goals such as "Building a National Integrated Big Data Center," "Eastern Calculation and Western Algorithm," "New Data Centers," and "Dual Carbon," high computing power, high security, high energy efficiency, high reliability, and high technology have become consensuses in the current IDC industry. In the dialogue and discussion session with experts, scholars, and corporate representatives on the theme "Under the trend of integration, where is the development direction of the IDC industry," Mr. Chen Shi explored how to strengthen the overall planning and layout of data centers under new circumstances, aligning its development with national industrial development direction based on market demand, energy supply, network conditions, and other practical factors.
For ZDATA, which has always emphasized optimizing energy structure, the company has accumulated rich practical experience in the field of "carbon neutrality" in data centers in recent years. From the combination of integrated photovoltaic systems and prefabricated technology for distributed photovoltaic power generation systems on rooftops, meeting the requirements of large-scale and fast delivery scenarios for data centers while effectively reducing peak power consumption, to modular UPS with low load and high efficiency, integrating the advantages of digital technology and power electronics technology, and advanced waste heat recovery technology that can recover 30% of the heat from the data center through devices such as heat exchangers and water-source heat pump units for heating in office areas—each practice demonstrates ZDATA's comprehensive exploration and achievements in data center site planning, energy structure, low-carbon cooling technology, and intelligent operation and maintenance management.
The year 2021 was a year of continued optimization and transformation for data centers, with the introduction of policy layouts, the establishment of energy consumption requirements standards, and the release of renovation and elimination plans, making the industry development goals more clear. As a professional IDC service provider in China, ZDATA will continue to explore and upgrade in promoting breakthroughs in core technologies, strengthening the supply of clean energy, enhancing energy consumption monitoring and management, and improving computing power service levels. It will actively respond to policy calls, navigate with a sail of green and low-carbon, and innovate with wisdom to promote the high-quality development of the industry and build a new type of digital infrastructure that meets the requirements of the times.
