ZDATA obtains "ISO50001 Energy Management System" certification.
Under the guidance of the "Dual Carbon" policy, ZDATA has consistently responded actively to the country's requirements for the green and intensive development of data centers. The company continuously explores an efficient, low-carbon, intensive, and cyclic path of low-carbon development. Energy management, as an essential requirement for creating green data centers, has always been a focus of ZDATA's efforts. Recently, after multiple rounds of audits and certifications by professional certification organizations, ZDATA's lean management in energy management has received national recognition. The company successfully obtained ISO 50001 Energy Management System Certification. This achievement comes after certifications such as ISO 9001 Quality Management System, ISO 14001 Environmental Management System, ISO 45001 Occupational Health and Safety Management System, ISO 20000 Information Technology Management System, ISO 27001 Information Security Management System, ISO 22301 Business Continuity Management System, representing another milestone for the company in the path of high-quality development focusing on "innovation, coordination, green, openness, and sharing."
ISO 50001 Energy Management System is a result of China's efforts to build an environmentally friendly and resource-saving society. Drawing on the successful models of quality management systems and environmental management systems, ISO 50001 incorporates the characteristics and special requirements of energy management. It utilizes a system management and whole-process concept, following the international PDCA model, integrating management with energy-saving technology. ISO 50001 becomes a crucial foundation for data centers to achieve energy-efficient and low-carbon management.
The "Dual Carbon" target path involves increasing the proportion of new energy use, reducing traditional energy output to lower carbon emissions. Simultaneously, the emphasis is on improving energy efficiency, reducing energy consumption, and forming a virtuous cycle of energy recovery and utilization. Following standard requirements, ZDATA, starting from the entire process of the management system, adheres to system management principles. The company establishes and improves a feasible and effective energy system, addressing the challenge of maximizing energy efficiency and emission reduction. This marks an innovative approach to energy management methods and energy-saving and carbon-reducing technologies, effectively improving energy utilization efficiency. ZDATA actively guides green office practices and green commuting at the company's internal level, promoting energy-saving and carbon reduction in everyday work details.
Through a combination of routine energy monitoring, enterprise energy consumption measurement and testing, enterprise energy balance statistics, enterprise energy audits, internal audits, management reviews, self-assessments, and other energy control measures, ZDATA gradually establishes a long-term management mechanism for energy-saving, emission reduction, and efficiency improvement. This involves the whole process, comprehensive participation, and all-employee involvement. The company propels the data center towards green and high-quality development.
Energy management system standards contribute to energy conservation and rational utilization. ZDATA, by reducing carbon emissions and increasing energy efficiency, not only lowers energy costs in the construction and operation of data centers but also enhances economic benefits. This positions the company to compete more effectively in terms of energy resources and better create a safe and energy-efficient green data computing home for government and enterprise customers.
Energy management is a complex and long-term task, far from being accomplished in a single effort. In the future, ZDATA will continue to align with the national "30·60" dual-carbon strategic goals, considering energy structure and industrial structure comprehensively. The company will use a systemic approach to drive the data center toward green and high-end development, achieving comprehensive green and low-carbon transformation in the new development stage, and laying a solid foundation for the sustained and healthy development of the digital economy.
